That WILL clear the buffer but you risk not having your account available if you don't wait long enough to log back in - another quirk with the software that didn't exist until the latest release (MB says you should reboot the PC which is ludicrous but then MB's solution to everything is that you should reboot your PC). Plus, as you note, when you're trying to close/open a position, its stressful to have to shut down. What's worked for me is to shut down EVERYTHING except the order entry & relevant Level II box - and by everything, I also mean all non-Real Tick browsers, chat windows, etc. as well as any Real Tick objects that are up. Shutting down the ticker on the LII box also helps despite Ross's contention that it doesn't. What I really need is for someone to bring some form of DSL to my area though I probably stand a better chance of winning the lottery that that happening.
