OK. SO I've got time for a little bit of fun. The answers to your first four questions are: no, no, never, never. You wrote: When I called the NP Canada's second place newspaper, I really meant to say second rate newspaper. An admission that you say things that you don't really mean to say is definitely a step in a mature direction. Any commentary previously directed to what you said but DID NOT REALLY MEAN TO SAY now becomes irrelevent, and unnecessary of further comment. I believe that when you refer to "Canada's...newspaper", you imply a National orientation; so it is hardly appropriate (or fair) for you to come back with parochial rags as a counterbalancing example of my rebuttal to your original premise. Let us be honest, John: You are far too intelligent a man to bog yourself down in a debate with me, when you know that my original response to you was simply a fair (and accurate ) comment on some hasty and flippant remarks that you had thrown out. I have read enough of your posts to ascertain that you are far from being a foolish person...and I have absolutely no reason to disrespect you. However, if you had any idea of my personal frame of mind right now (for very serious reasons) you would think 20 or 30 times before you start baiting me over non issues.
