Yeah, fair enough. But I don't have patience to keep them honest and keep collecting proof of their incompetence. I'd rather spend that time doing something more constructive - something which I like to do! I'd rather have a broker who doesn't give grief...but of course we are all different in acceptence of low performances.......

LOL In my jobs, I always weeded out the bottom 5% performers in my team every year ! Tough, but its a competitive world out there !

I disagree about the "reputable" comment. My experience has been otherwise. Unless the dollar amount involved is large enough to hire a lawyer AND you can prove that they were DEAD WRONG, they assume you will not bother to go through the inches-thick pile of ambiguous NASD complaint forms and file for arbitration. Odds are in their favor. So we can switch brokers or go to hell for all they care.
