According to Aviation Week 3-29-99, this is the Army office managing the VCOP contract: 134.78.40.107 The pages do not seem to have been kept current, but then VCOP is new. I have E-Mailed the PM asking if there is a better site on VCOP. Zeev: One acceptable meaning of the verb "scan" is as a synonym for the verb "map." And the language immediately adjacent to what you find objectionable reinforces this interpretation. Your other objection, regarding the confusion of focus vs. depth perception, seems to me to be more reasonable. BTW, MVIS' patent lawyer is an "in-house" employee of MVIS. While I do not believe he was involved in the earliest MVIS patents, you can search the IBM patent server for his last name (Tegreene) and evaluate some of his prior work. I am not dismissing your concerns, I am just anxious for this issue to be aired fully.
