Paul - If AMD is shifting sales into the K6-3, I don't see it in the consumer marketplace. Of course, anything that I see in the way of advertisements or store inventory is highly random and suffers from the small sample syndrome. With that proviso out of the way, I am not seeing anything resembling volume K6-3 Box ads or inventory in stores like Costco, Staples or local electronics retailer ads in Sunday papers. Matter of fact hardly any K6-3. To be fair, lots of K6-2 ads though. I did notice Celeron 433 product at Price Club last Sunday and in the Sunday supplement ads. If there's some really high volume of K6-3 being sold, I'm not seeing it yet. Maybe it's not in wide store distribution in my area of the country - Long Island, just east of New York City. Or maybe it's being sold in volume through the direct retailors like Micron and Gateway or over the net. We'll know pretty soon cause the details will be discussed when AMD announces.
