vpelt, after reading some more on MVIS, I find that they are also getting involved in projection display. As I mentioned in my response to you, a good high power blue laser (like the one you cited in your post) might be interesting for projection work (but not for VRD as I mentioned). In any event, that group's laser are probably a good four five years from commercialization, so I do not know what impact they will have. I could not find what type of projection technology MVIS is planning to use for projection (scanning beams or SPL), so I do not even know at this time if it is relevant. As for those worrying about my financial well being for being short or something like that, let me do the worrying, it is part of my heritage (VBG). Josef, if you cannot post the response, will he let you PM it to me? Last, whomever got the idea that I am negative on this stock? Josef asked me to look at few patents and I did, as far as I know these patents may not even be used in their technology anymore. Josef knew I will look and report back what I found, look at these claims yourself and use common sense, do not be blinded by your love for a stock, look at reality and draw your conclusions. I can point at some warts and these warts might be old (after all, the assignee was still the University on both patents, and as I mentioned, so far, the patent data base shows no patents assigned to MVIS.) Everyone else is pointing at all the roses, so you do not need me for that. Weigh the warts against the roses, and include things like position in the market place, financial strength to execute (current burn rate vs cash on hand is very critical), projected cost of product and how these projection influences possible penetration of non military markets, in short, your normal DD.
