They may have it. Probably do -- after all, my son has a civilian version. Point is, it has made guerrilla war harder by making it more difficult to move about without detection. Also, it used only to be available for ground use; now I understand they can sit high up in helicopters and watch for movement on the ground. Heck, may even have it in satellites for all I know.

Point being, what Tito could do and what Milosovic can do are very different things. If SM (what appropriate initials for him <g>) is planning to do a 1990s version of Tito, I think he's in for a surprise.

That said, if you've been following my prior posts you know I think this whole air war is an abomination and is making things worse, not better. Love the post about Blair's OPPOSITE attitudes toward N. Ireland and Kosovo. I suppose somebody understands why destroying Yugoslavia is productive, but I sure don't, and hundreds of thousands of Kosovans driven out of their homes don't, either.

Now I read (though who knows if NATO is telling us the truth? Or, rather, is this one of their lies or not) that SM is destroying basic civilian records -- birth, death, marriage, land records, etc. Sorting this out is going to be HUGE mess. Would he have done that if not for the bombing? I doubt it.

Way to go, Clinton.

Christopher, Seems my inquiry today about the Serbs having night vision tech has been answered today. There is no way the Serbs could
surround and capture our "not there" ground troops at night without the aid of night vision equipment. I think there will be some sad
people around FT Bragg No. Carolina tonight...These men are the best
of the best and don't get caught easily...You can also bet they were
deep into enemy territory and not the Montenegro border or they could
have just had a newsman give his daily report..Lord help these soldiers for they are brave men..Damn, I knew this crap was going to
happen.. talk about deja-vu.
