Yes, the one consolation for PSFT stockholders is that while the Dow dropped over 200 points intraday to close at its low, PeopleSoft actually moved up from a 14 1/4 open (and 12 1/2 pre-open) to close down less than 1. That definitely indicates a bottom, and that the bad news is already in the stock price.

The question is if this is THE bottom, or if there is more to come. What else can PeopleSoft announce to make the stock go lower? If they announce that the future beyond y2k and their web plans look bad, there's no chance they'll ever be taken over, they concede the shareholder lawsuits, and Poseidonas will be the new CEO, watch out below...
