datek failed me in:
-> poor customer service.
-> frequent outages on their servers.
-> poor connection during the morning/afternoon peaks
(this is NOT due to anyone exc. datek; i do systems work, and checked that).
as a sidebar, they didn't do options, though they may now.

i know someone who is still with datek, and though the outages are less, he's still not 100% confident with them.
