Anyone have an idea about unusual trade at close 03/31?

Terribly low volume until 100,000+ traded at close. What makes this happen?

Victor, I got a message back from Robert Cooper (calls himself a Financial Analyst... whatever that means) at ELBO.

He just said thanks for the comments and that they were going to become a more public company in the near future.

So, I replied to him that I hoped the near future comes quickly. We'll see... Also asked him about insider ownership. So, if he doesn't reply, we'll just have to assume the worst (7500 lousy shares).

I feel sorry for those analysts covering this company. They really are the ones sticking their necks out and getting them chopped off by the laziness at this company.

Hope it changes for the better! Still holding on!

Victor, got an interesting message back today!

Robert Cooper (financial analyst at ELBO... again, whatever that means) says,

"Total management ownership is 714,642 shares between the top three guys (CEO, CFO, and SR VP of Merchandising). There have been no purchases or sales in quite a while, and will not be for at least the next month after today (if any are planned) as the company will enter a "closed" period for insiders as of the close of the markets today (4-1-99)."

Let me just pause here to repeat that: THE COMPANY WILL ENTER A "CLOSED" PERIOD FOR INSIDERS AS OF THE CLOSE OF THE MARKETS TODAY.

This says to me that there is definitely going to be an announcement of some sort within the next month! (please stop my enthusiasm if there could be any other reason for a "closed" period for insiders) I will reply to Rob and see if there may just be a common reason.

What are your comments on all this?
