Check my posts, I didn't blame the victim. What I said are two things:

One, this particular virus can be easily avoided by disable macro. Nothing panic.

Two, there are a lot of other ways to do the similar damage if users are not careful. So the best way is educating yourself.

I guess every car sold should have a label. "This car may cause your death." Every food should have a label, "This may cause you choke."

Hi Thure,

Since you brought up cigarettes...

I'm unhappy that Phillip Morris lost that $81 million because a 40-year smoker died of lung cancer. Sorry, but I do blame the victim, being that "the warning is right on the label," and that everyone otherwise knows all about the problems smoking eventually causes.

So anyway, in smoking cases I do blame the victim. I'm interested to understand the other side of the story--why some people say that it's not the victim fault. Do you mind helping me?

Thanks,
-Sal

Thure,

>> Maybe we should request that all MS products come with a label. "This software can be bad for your computers health, or something.."

How about "This software will cost more to maintain than it will to purchase."

Or "Any information entered using this product will be available to everyone on the Internet."

Cheers,

Norm
