Eric, I recently came across your thread and I was wondering how you interface your expert system to order entry? I think you mentioned you use Castle. Do they provide any special API to interface custom applications to their system?

Does anyone use a stock scanning program that monitors stocks with rapid moves up or down during the trading day? If so, how does it work. Are you pleased with it? Worth the trouble?
I play a lot of bounces (up and down) and have wondered if there is something like this out there. Currently do research the night before and work off a list of likely movers.
Ron

Thank you Eric for your informative posts. If you remember you were the person who provided me with the ECN locking/crossing the market explanation. I have posted your reply many time to help others as you did me.

I have a question re your recent posts about getting fills. As a stock is either rapidly UTing or DTing someone is getting filled. Are these traders lucky, quick pulling the trigger, or perhaps buying/selling several levels from the current inside market. You comments would be appreciated.
