What a load of cr@#! With the right combination of design and cooling technology my aunt can make anything run at supersonic speeds. And she has not touched hardware in 20 years. Back in the late 80s, there was a company that would sell you a super fast fully compatible PC which ran at 400 MHz (very impressive when you remember that the average clock speed in those days was 12~16 MHz). They could do this, because they were using genuine Intel 8086 processor that was liquid nitrogen cooled. So if we are suppose to take into account advance designs and cooling techniques, I guess 3dfx can claim that their v3 runs at over 1 GHz!
