It depends on when you got in. When I joined, it was $75 for a
lifetime fee. I think when it became so popular, the people that
run the site decided that a lifetime fee wasn't the way to go.
Fortunately, some of us are already locked in.

Some of us longtimers have a lifetime membership--it was offered early on, under the previous ownership, and so far the new owners have kept the promise, much to their credit. That type of membership is no longer offered.
