John, in my opinion (!) management has done a good job up to now and has earned my trust. I am going to give them a quarter or two to turn the ship around again. Have been investing in Iona for a couple years and have done quite well. The main thing is do we see the postponed sales pick up next quarter, and do EPS pick up reflecting a return on sales staff spending and reorientation of the marketing effort. tim

BEAS has a transaction processing monitor. This is critical for e-commerce. They are adding o-o software (probably from its Java-based WebLogic purchase) and EAI, but I am not sure exactly the nature or amount of o-o software involved. What does IONA bring to the party in e-commerce and Java? Perhaps CORBA is old hat?
