Since Serbia has blocked satellite TV feeds, several news correspondents have been using satellite phones to communicate. I wonder who they are using?

Do you think IRID's problems stem from a lack of subscribers or a lack of handsets being available to potential subscribers? As long as demand exceeds supply, you cannot say demand is weak. When the handsets start shipping in huge quantities, and demand is saturated, you'll have to look at the saturation point to decide whether there is enough demand. Personally, foriegn executives of US companies, and everybody who works in the marine fields and is often out one the seas will provide more demand than Iridium can supply this year....assuming its marketed correctly.
