Basically, ARC owns an 82% stake in Vastar and it looks like BPA would tender an offer for the remaining shares.

The problem is that Vastar had initiated long term contracts with FLC and DO for its multiyear programs but BPA will probably induce cost cutting programs which would alter Valstars production schedule so the need for the rigs may diminish.

OT Douglas, Even though I have no idea why we are in Kosov and have my doubts we should be there in the first place. Personally I think to temporally suspend bombing because of the easter weekend is extremely hypocritical. The idea that you can fight a civilized war is upsurd. War is NOT civilized period it is organized murder and mayhem. Don't get me wrong, I do understand that we must fight wars to protect our freedom interests etc., but it is still murder and mayhem on a large scale. So if we are going to continue bombing and killing people do it and get it over with. Kinda puts a damper on the whole easter thing anyway.

My opinion only

Rory

OT <<Any guess what we are up to in the Balkans>>

Initiation of attacks on Serbia coincided exactly with the scheduled release of the Congressional report on success of Chinese spying on our nuclear and missile facilities which apparently slams the administration.

Naa.a... couldn't be connected ... Clinton is too trustworthy for a trick like that.

This exercise makes no sense to me at all.
