Oops, we had to change our story. "The Pentagon backed away from initial assertions that the soldiers had not crossed into Yugoslav territory. " Washington Post. So maybe the soldiers DID invade a soverign nation. May they illegally crossed the border. Maybe they DID violate international law. Maybe that's what they'll be tried for? Lets see. Major "facts" the U.S. has now had to retract: Moderate Serbian leaders killed. Their houses destroyed. U.S. troops not in Yugoslavia. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Truth is the first casualty of war. Does anybody here believe that Clinton any longer even knows the difference between truth and lies? This is getting scarier and scarier.

Clinton states "a trial would be violation of Intl law! And this guy didn't inhale?! This is a war. Whether or not Clinton and NATO want to admit it. What do they think this is - constructive criticism? Guys, when you bomb a country - that is war. Start treating it this way. "Collateral damage" "minimize casualties" "precision bombing" "peacekeeping troops" Do these words exist in any tactical military manual? You better believe it doesnt exist for the Serbs. This is war to them and they will do what it takes to win. They boldly captured 3 of our "peacekeeping" troops and the only thing Clinton can do is whine. What were they doing out there alone?!! 3 guys Ever heard of recon in force? Obviously even the local ground commanders are not seeing this as a war. From the top to bottom this is a complete and utter fiasco. Whats NATO going to do if the Serbs try these 3? Make more accusations of war crimes? War crimes - an oxymoron if ever there was one. Created only by the victors. And I don't see NATO as the victors here. Unless they start acting like they want to win a war that they themselves started.
