Was in a CompUSA store yesterday to buy a 32 meg flash card for my digital camera. They had the prouduct at a great price ($149) but their business model is broken. Not enough help, people standing around to buy pieces/parts and waiting in line at the service desk. Doesn't matter how much advertising you do if you make it difficult for your customers to buy from you. Talk about channel stuffing! Tons of stuff poorly displayed, in stacks on the floor and on racks. Only their printer display seemed properly staffed, BY AN EPSON representative. What irked me more than anything was the security guard at the exit, inspecting the packages as I left the store. People will buy there on price, but not service. CompUSA is simply one more casualty as a result of the success of Dell's business model.

They're busted, for sure.
