You are starting to sound like them, "should seek a solution that, bla bla bla." Sure we can seek anything we want in a perfect world and have it, given time, resources, and everyone's full cooperation. My comment was in relation to the simplicity of the demands NATO gave to end the bombing. IMO a nonsolution unless they are as you say "taking sides against the Serbs." Which as I understand it would be a violation of the NATO agreement. That is EXACTLY my complaint. Typical of this closet generation, that is exactly what is happening so lets not talk about it.

WSJ yesterday said we should declare Slobo a war criminal and our goal should be his ouster and trial.

Seems to me a reasonable solution would be for Serbia to replace Slobo with someone who doesn't have as the centerpiece of his agenda murdering Yugoslavian citizens. Maybe the Russians could be convinced that he has to go and could negotiate with the Yugo govmt. towards that end.

That might be a first step.
