I have the impression that DST sales are slow because AMPEX is so small. Some folks might be reluctant to buy units that wonÕt have support in the future, one: if the company goes belly up, or two: falls on hard times (as they have). If a major BRAND name owned the DST portion, then sales would improve, because companies could be guarenteed future support on the product. Still, what Ampex is doing right now is a good calculated gamble that can pay off a little farther down the line. It requires patience, an emotion IÕve never learned to manage very well. al
