That was a good post. The point that CNBC made when invigilating WIND's Pres. was, "why don't you guys let analysts know about your stock. Have you ever thought of going on road shows?"

I know WIND goes to the conferences but the implications of the CNBC question was embarrassingly accurate. The fact checker who wrote the question had a hell of a time figuring out what WIND was and what they do.

The CEO made a half hearted Internet pitch, which lacked cogency.

WIND needs at the very least a new IR, PR and marketing handle, and probably a new CFO, and CEO and Pres.

I'm not long or short the stock, but just find the fall to multi-year lows bizarre. We're headed now to 13-14 at least. The fall-out from the pre-earnings run-in with the disgruntled anal is typical of management arrogance, incompetence or indifference..

I say, SACK them.

>>>We feel extremely good about continuing our growth and growth in market share. We also understand that there are the new dynamics in the market driven by the need for solutions and professional services and we are becoming a more vertical solutions company growing from our previous broad technology base. This represents change and we are managing this well. >>>

I am glad that WRS is flexible in moving the company closer toward the customer's needs. That shows management skill and insight, not arrogance.

I am also curious if anyone understands what is driving the shift. Is it greater time-to-market pressure or overwhelming complexity of Real Time solutions or something new?
