Without that heroic decision by then Intel management to give up DRAM and to concentrate on CPU, there would not be the 100:1 ratio today

Even if John chambers or Mike Dell was runnng AMD for all these years, Intel would still do everything possible to minimize and deny AMD's profits -- name them: court battles to price cuts.
