Ray, whether the shares of AIPN are rationally or irrationally low really depends on what one could "forecast" as the outlook for AIPN. After all, $2/share (relative to the high of $7) could be irrationally low as could $1 which held for quite some time. The fact remains that the Kazh fields need a lot of money to develop and somehow, AIPN is not managing to get this money into their coffers. The Asphalt refinery is really a "non issue" as far as I am concerned. Finally, AIPN may have to do a 10 for 1 reverse split which will make the shares worth about $7/share, will that then be a rational high or low price? In other words we should take the current price and multiply by the number of shares (I have lost count on this) and get something, maybe $40 MM capitalization? Is what AIPN has worth that figure is really the question. Zeev

well geeeee whizzzz.....if ya wanted 'whinin' you should have said so. I can whine with the best of em I assure you. Thing is....and I guess you are kinda new here.....I have been an owner of this crap for almost two years now. And when you are an owner for that long you kinda melt right in with the stock and kinda 'become' if ya know what I mean. I have waited for months and months during the fall and winter of 97 for the much anticipated 'joint partner' to materialize. damn......he never came...wonder why. And then I spent the spring of 98 waiting for the much anticipated seismic to be completed and reported. That came and went like a whisper.... like a brief gust of air on a hot....sweaty summer afternoon. It was there and gone in a flash....and the news seemed kinda good. What did the stock do? It tanked. Then there was the 'mission impossible' type cover up operation of the sale of GF's stock.....whew!!!...that sure was fun. What the hell was the name of that firm doin the covering? Oh yeah....Millenium Holdings group.....Gary S. made GF famous on that one. "George Faris has not and will not sell one share of his stock". Yeah right!!!!! Then we all get to finally take part in the much anticipated Conference Call of April 98. What? Wait....wait wait wait.....what do ya mean it will not be an interactive CC? Is there any other kind? Well....apparently so. Duped again....I knew better....I told SK after the call we were gonna get slaughtered like pigs at a feast. Yeah yeah....right again......down goes the stock....head first into the high twos. Say what? How can this be? We were all assured that 'everything' was fine. I mean ....gezzz...we got this famous concession to develop and now we bought a refinery to boot. WoooooHooooo!!!!! Uh? Wait....why is the stock tanking again? Now into the mid to high ones. It's not to be here we all said.....what a friggen bargain. Hey ....I got an idea ....lets average down again.....this is a great company with great prospects right? So we all average down.....or some of us anyway.....some people I knew had upwards of 50,000 shares now all tucked away neat and tidy in their drawers ..... a horde of paper .....with oil smudges all over them...put there on purpose you see...cause non of us ever really saw any of that Kazakhstan oil. But what the hell....we can dream right? This company is what dreams are made of we said. Yeah right again! Down it goes again....into the low ones and gets stuck in that 'oil' sort of speak for a long time. Then .....we are finally saved from the tight trading range by yet another press release of more convertible securities.....you know....like the ones before.....and woopeeeeee we are out of that damn trading range......what? ...wait? what do you mean the stock is going down? This can't be.....this is impossible......I can't believe my eyes.....now the stock is at 3/4 and holding solid.....yeah right......hey.....I have an idea ...lets average down again.......no....not this time dingaling...it's time to smell the ....whatever it is that's in front of my nose and realize that we ALL have been duped.....they pulled the wool over our eyes Clancy.......now what are we gonna do I asked myself......well.....well....well...thinking...gears turning....I know.....I'll start GRIPING and CRYING....that will surely bring the stock up. sighhhhhhh.......9/16.....what's an honest guy to do? Huh.....that is a good question....a veryyyyy good question. Hows that for 'whinin'? have a good day sir..... DH
