Good input however, the shallow stuff in Glancy is not high risk or low return ratios. And besides, what do you mean by "keeping the lights on"? how do you equate that to wells that generate hugh cash flows and roi at 6 months, after land acquisition considered into the equation and provided typical land acquisition expense. With the total outstanding shares versus a 30,000 mcfpd net rate, the stock could easily trade at 3 to 5 cdn, provided no debt. May be these guys need to focus on the deeper larger pays because of debt. Show me a company in this area with little or no debt, good acquisition skills and an understanding of the opportunity, and I'll be a big buyer. Don't play down Mississippi...it makes me suspect. Production is the cornerstone of the E&P business.

Whynotte,

I hear the Old Ocean shoot is finally nearing completion (should be done within a month), and then figure 3 months for interpretation and we could be picking well sites by August!

Several name companies have expressed an interest in farming into this play and are looking at it as we speak. With gas getting back over $2 even in the spring lull months here its woken up folks that gas is definitely the commodity to be drilling for now vs. oil.

Could you (or someone else) explain exactly what "reservoir fragmentation" is and how a reservoir can become fragmented. Thanks in advance.
