I believe those shares were bought by very educated buyers, buyers who already had the chance to see the results of Q1 and the bookings for Q2 up close and personal.

To some extent, I disagree. LSI IR has been telling everybody that the quarter is going to be strong for the past two months.

The Semiconductor industry has been plagued with over optimistic forecasts. The forecast assume that prices don't plunge and volume increases. As we all should know, this is not the case. Currently semiconductor stock prices are near all time highs and profits are horrible. They (profits) should stay bad as long as more fabs are opening than closing. This of course deviates per company. I think Lsi above $60 is a good short. For those who believe the market should trade at an average PE of 100-200; a price of $100 - 200 doesn't seem at all absurd for LSI.

just my opinion (partly).

Well, whether you are talking $40, $60, $80 or $100, I will probably have LSI shares at all those levels. And I will sell a little chunk at each of those levels. What I WON'T do is to hang on to all my shares all the way up (and then all the way back!) If you don't know what that means, just ask Addi. He'll surely be able to tell you! <G>
