If I remember the numbers correctly, Bob's S&P 500 earning projections are the same numbers, just delayed by one year. I.E., his old estimate was that we would get to $51.50 by 1999. More recently, he is projecting that the 51.50 level of earnings will just take one more year to achieve - we'll have to wait for the year 2000.
