My wife says that if it weren't for AIM she
would remove my trading privileges.

Now there's a lady I would love to meet! <g>

I have to disagree about the emotion aspect. I get very emotional when I come home to an e-mail from Ameritrade, saying that one of my GTC orders has hit. As I click on the message to read its contents, I start to feel my palms sweat and my heart beat faster and faster, wondering which stock is it this time, was it a buy or a sell, how will this affect my percentages, etc... Finally, the message appears (I only have a pentium 200, so it takes this long for the message to pop up on my screen), and I'm torn between jubilation and tears. "If only I had more to sell," or "If only I could have bought more!" Then, my heart rate returns to normal, my hands stop shaking, and all is well in the AIM universe. When you're my age, you take your excitement wherever you can!

Sincerely,
RFH
