Barbara,

I have no doubts about your belief in John Schmitz and your desire for PABN to succeed. I for one would be shocked to learn that you were anything other than an investor who whole heartedly believed what the company has said. The same failings my brother had at one time. However, there does come a time when an investor becomes bonded and is too close to the company rhetoric that they are in denial of the facts that surround them.

I have never attacked you or made fun of you publicly for having this belief in PABN. In fact, I think it is healthy for the thread as a whole to have hard core believers (not necessarily hostile ones) and those who will question, a point counter point, a balancing of sorts. However, if you assume this role of company spokesperson you need to remind yourself that you must remain open and willing to listen to opposing opinions and not become agitated and defensive about the company. Never loose sight of the fact that this is an investment, and not your baby. An investor should never loose sight of the fact that there may be glaring problems that should be addressed and not glossed over.

You see, many on a thread play important roles. To snap at somebody because they don't like to call the company because they know they can be suckered is not fair. Especially if they are contributing in other areas such as background research and enhancement of discussion. You also need to realize that people will assume roles in areas they feel most comfortable in. Here, your contribution was in calling the company and that is important and valuable, but not the end all. Calling the company is not DD, it's regurgitation, but without this, the researcher types have no leads to dive into searching for verification. This is how a thread could work in harmony. To rely on various skills and strengths from many rather than hoarding information.

No, Barbara, I am not an employee of the SEC, I have been subpoenaed by them. Are you an employee of PABN? I don't think you are. I think what's going on here is what I call phase 3, as I've seen it on some other threads since I unfortunately was introduced the wonderful world of OTC "stocks" a year or so ago. Phase 1 is euphoria, everyhting is incredible, the stock shoots up, everything is great with the world. Phase 2 is, hmmmm, should I sell, and the supporters/hypesters say NO NO that's stupid you will be sorry. Phase 3 the stock drops, the suporters blame the "bashers" etc. And in some cases it's easy to blame the bashers because they are sometimes pretty nasty. And sometimes this "blaming" includes charges of being other than what they claim in terms of sex, age, location, etc. And I notice many of the people posting on SI hide behind a mask of suppossedly religous virtuosity so they must of course be the good guys, they go to church, they wouldn't try to mislead anyone. Then the Final phase is, but ONLY for those 90% or more of OTC that go under, Reality sets in, the hypesters say, oh, I'm sorry, you bashers were right, even though you are disgusting people, let's get the owners of the Company, the perpetrators, forgetting that They also perpetrated with their naivete and ultraenthusiasm. On one lovely thread, they accused the "basher" of everything you could possibly imagine....and you know what, I doubted her too, so I know whereof I speak...and it turns out she is a World Renowned Scholar whose works are in the Library of Congress and she actually was trying to help and warn the people....no I am not with the SEC, I am a SHAREHOLDER of PABN. And I see on their Web site that wow they are going to file their their financials and are on their way to getting listed on NASDAQ. EXCUSE ME FOR BEING STUPID, BARBARA, BUT WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME A STOCK SELLING FOR LESS THAN $.05 GOT LISTED ON NASDAQ?? AND HOW DO THEY OVERCOME THAT PROBLEM WITHOUT HURTING THE CURRENT SHAREHOLDERS? No, I don't think the SEC should be interested in you, but from what I can see, maybe you might start switching over to the Final Phase of this process. If I'm wrong, GREAT. But, somehow, as Yogi used to say, or was it Casey, it's deja vu all over again.
