vendit: OT - you mentioned taxes and i presume from your posts that your trading is at least profitable. My question is are you using trader status for taxes, and if so, do you have any view as to the pro's and con's of mark-to-market .VS cash accounting??

Agreed, you must stay long on your core holdings like AOL and DELL. I can't believe someone would sell such a huge position because of this Y2K scare.
