Did you know why I mentioned about "Splinter of the Minds Eye" having to do a tie-in with the last installment of the prequels? Part (if not all) of the 3rd movie has to do with a Jedi quest for the Kaibur crystal, which has mysterious powers of the force. As the 3rd movie would open, it takes place on a volcano planet where Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, who has been transformed to the dark side of the force, duel in a light saber match which leads Anakin straight into the volcano. This will be done intentionally or accidentally by Ben Kenobi. Later on in the movie, Emperor Palpatine resurrects Anakin and brings him back to life, leaving him in the mask that we all saw in the Star Wars trilogies. Episodes II and III will be much more gloomier and darker. I sure as heck hope that they won't mess it up by throwing all of those "teddy bears" (Ewoks), thus, reducing the tone of the movie. I know I keep throwing it up again, but the director that would be best suited for one or both of the movies, if Lucas is not interested, would be Jim Cameron. His creativeness as well as directorial and production EASILY makes him a very qualified candidate..............'nuff said.

Oh! I forgot to tell you. Remember the appearance of the emperor (Palpatine)in ROTJ? Well, that was the result of a clash between him and Ben Kenobi. I don't know the details on that one, but it is true. You know? I went to my local comic store today because I collect pedigree comics and could not believe the prices that they are asking (and getting) for the Kenner action figures that came out in the seventies and eighties, not to mention the ships. I broke down and bought a Jawa out of the box and without the gun for $8.I wanted to buy the Yoda one, but the price on it was too rediculous! I am particularly interested in buying the Jawa Sandcrawler, complete with remote control. He told me to expect to pay in the upwards of around $300.00. Collecting the old Star Wars figures has become BIG BUSINESS. There are even conventions that are held throughout the country. Incredible!

The Correllian Trilogy is the series of novels that is probably the 20 years later piece. The three kids have been born and are involved in the story. This is an interesting set of books......I've read it three times.

Actually, there are several books for young adults available that involve the twins as teen-age jedi. I think there are two complete series of about 6 books and another series not completed yet. Kevin Anderson has been involved in the writing of them all.
