No Ted.. George's link is an fine editorial that raises the question about whether LINUX is the way to go for stability while using the complex 3-d games. What I linked to was a BB of gamers who are already going there, looking to LINUX as the answer. IMO, it has little to do with price; gamers are people are pushing the envelope constantly. They want performance! This is why PCTR will do well, because they do the same. I bet you anything that Dr W is "up" on LINUX. Remind me and I will call him Monday and see what he says. Incidently, I don't think this sort of sidebar to PCTR is really off topic. When there is nothing more specific to talk about, what's wrong with expanding our understanding of the peripheral issues? Where's JakeSki to rescue me from all this? -Madly
