Doug, It is a well established fact by now that Clinton is wagging the dog. Otherwise, his legacy would have been "the cigar". He clearly hopes for Kosovo to blow up in the face of NATO so that the resulting more serious and longer term war will take the heat off his zipper. He is a total embarrassment that even people like George Stephenopolous now say should never have been elected in the first place. He is a lose-lose without the war, and a lose-win with it. He'll take what he can get. The stench you refer to is the sickness called Clinton. He dodged the draft and protested in Russia re VietNam. Now look at him. This gives "stench" a new meaning. Steve Forbes put it best. Arm the Kosovar and let them do what they need to do.
