FJV,

I do not believe this is a blunder on comrade clintons's part. I believe this "war" was bought and paid for. When this is over the US will be completely demoralized, the military depleted, and the economy in ruins.

Somehow I don't think the Chinese mind this action although they protest (weakly).

Finally, I don't think clinton cares much about the political implications now that he is essentially untouchable.

Hi Franko, I had been thinking along those lines myself but you did an excellent job of putting it in writing.

FWIW, personally I think you are right on.

Interesting post... Right now the Russian government is promoting anti U.S. sentiment and the people are buying it..... do you think it's possible that the anti U.S. promotions could backfire on the government? Here's how: the populace develops a strong nationalist sentiment and the government would be unable to control it? Perhaps the government is over acting it's part while it plays its role to the home crowd..... just a thought.....

Your thoughts? Thanks in advance.....

Franco,
My very own sentiments almost exactly! This misguided action has stirred up a hornet's nest in Russia that probably will swarm against America for a very, very long time.
Supreme American "dictator" William Jefferson Clinton likes to say "I feel your pain" to sway folks over to his radical thoughts and ideas, while pretending to really care about certain groups. He is the "perfect" politician, and yes for those of you who don't "get it" out there, that is NOT a compliment. My fellow Americans, you have supported scum and slime in poll after poll, so please do not be surprised when it hits the proverbial fan and splatters all over you!
Those who support slime become slime. The fullness of time will bear this out. Yogi
