<lol> I love that joke Sergio...Interesting about the drywall, actually will be purchasing some Monday for a job I'm doing,,I'll let you know, hopefully it's in stock...is Gypsum considered a commodity?
Commodity markets are getting interesting, and I agree...it could spark some excitement back into the TSE and other C exchanges, spilling over into non commodity related stocks as well...We'll have to keep an eye on the C-$..DD

Amigo, sheetrock in the gulf coast area is in great demand, and there is a very significant shortage. Material suppliers have all major subcontractors on allocation. Construction projects are being delayed if materials are not stockpiled far in advance of need. Certain type of rock, like shaft liner that is used around elevator shafts, is completely used up, and the suppliers say more shaft liner is not going to be run until late April, early May.

Also, the cement shortage has not fully recovered in the Houston area. I don't know if this is a localized problem because of the railroads, or a widespread problem.

Sergio,

Funny cop joke!!! Believe it or not that used to happen. One duck out and the rest run like heck and hope they don't crash somewhere along the line. Took us about 1/2 second to figure it out and learned to stop the second one out instead of the first.
