Have seen a Mig-29 in Romania and the instructions were in Romanian.

Yugoslav Tanjug news agency reported a second Stealth fighter had to make an emergency landing in Zagreb. To me, Tanjug is a credible as the White House press office, James Carville or Tony Blair's mouthpieces at NATO "briefings" (not necessarily in that order!)

I've sat in a Mig-29 of the former DDR. There was cyrillic writing, German writing and also some in English which is, by the way, the official universal language of aviation.
