I'm you'll agree with me that it's easier to achieve the appearance of consistency if you're spreading production out over six to eight fabs. It's also easier to produce marketable quantities of your highest MHz parts at earlier introduction dates (simple math). These two factors contribute to making Intel's process technology look bette than it really is.
