If Clinton really believes in his heart that this action against the Serbs is warranted, he should do the honorable thing: resign as President, enlist as an infantryman and go and fight a brutal ground war to demonstrate his patriotism and to remove all doubt that he was(60's)/is a coward.

Having drawn and shed blood in the service of the US on three continents without question, I can't honestly say that I feel any overwhelming sense of urgency to help one more group of "oppressed masses" that wouldn't give us the time of day if we weren't killing their enemies. My gut instinct would be to tell them to take care of it themselves.

Then again, I'm a cynic with a shitty outlook on the nature of the "brotherhood of man", so my gut instinct would be wrong. When all is said and done, we are probably are doing the right thing in opposing Milosevic and Serbia, irregardless of our motives and irregardless of the consequences.
