Artificial Life has launched a new species of online tool that is both a search engine and one that aids e-shoppers to find the lowest prices
available online. The tool, called ALife-WebGuide, asks a user about a
purchase or interests, and displays corresponding Web sites and links.
The ALife-SalesRep is an online tool to direct specific information, about special deals, to a user. In a press release, Eberhard Schoneburg, Artificial Life chairman, president and CEO said, "This new e-commerce software, incorporating three of our natural language bots, the ALife-WebGuide, the ALife-Messenger and the ALife-SalesRep, will create a full sales operating cycle over the Internet." The company (ALIF) is initially involved in an e-commerce deal with a European company, about which details will be provided at a press conference on April 14.
