I still don't understand the puzzlement over the 4Q results by people claiming expertise in this stock. If you knew the results for the first three quarters, then you know the results for the fourth quarter--it's really that simple. By the way, every analyst knows this number--it took me 3 seconds to find on Yahoo; the fourth quarter EPS was 19 cents per share, way higher than the analysts' consensus estimate of 11 cents per share. That's right, IFCI beat analysts' estimates. Indeed, if you check the profile on this company at Multex, you'll see that the analysts' consensus on this stock is BUY. Yahoo confirms this: 5 analysts cover the stock--4 have this as a strong or moderate buy, 1 as a hold. Multex states the analyts' earnings consensus as 70 cents for 1999, and $1.00 for 2000. Return on equity is 22%.

Yes, indeed, they're a real bunch of morons over there at IFCI. All they can do is garner $100 million in revenues, over $10 million in net earnings, and have 4 out of 5 analysts covering the stock recommending it as a BUY. As Casey Stengel once said: "You could look it up."

Sorry, guys, I'd love the price to be higher too, but these rants about what idiots they are over at corporate HQ seem irrational to me given the facts.
