Dear Barb: I am using a phone line for access and for some crazy reason it alternates between 28,800 and 16,800 on alternating days. Have had the phone company out 3 times and they say its the best connection I can get from them. (I have a 56k modem). So have been thinking of switching to cable but as earlier pointed out, my cable goes out for a time nearly everyday (unreliable). I have heard AOL is considering Cable service, wondering how they would do that. Also, how do you get the $4.95 service from aol while on a cable. I am currently an aol subscriber and would hate to give it up as there are some nice things available that I have gotten used too. JDN
