>Currently, I have NATO with 2:1 odds. What
do you think of that?

The 1 (in the 2:1) is unbearable politically in any NATO participant...Whatever they do I believe the Serbs will shoot down more than one of these helicopters...we are just a bodybag away from ending this madness. I think we should all take wagers on how many helicopters will be shot down and the losers send a check to a relief agency to help the refugees!

Meanwhile I am looking into Raytheon and Boeing!

News item from Stratfor

>US Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott met with Greek government officials on Monday to discuss the Kosovo crisis. At this time, no statements have been released on the meeting.   However, ITAR-TASS News Agency is reporting that Talbott unsuccessfully attempted to convince Greek officials to allow more Kosovo refugees into Greece and to allow NATO to use Greek ports for the transportation of troops to the area.

5,000 refugees accepted I believe. Of course all of them will be members of the Greek minority there....I am wondering what the Greek govt extracted for that...I hope a lot!
As far as Greece allowing NATO to use Greek ports....they are hallucinating! The only way for that to happen is US convinces Turkey to leave Cyprus....and we all know that is not going to happen!

One more news item from Statfor:

Waleed al-Tabtabai, an Islamist Parliamentarian in Kuwait, is reported to be seeking the expuslion of Stanislav Stakic, Yugoslavian Ambassador to Kuwait. Al-Tabtabai has also called for Kuwait to end all business dealings with Yugoslavia, cut diplomatic ties to Yugoslavia in a show of solidarity with Kosovo Moslems and to protest Iraqi-Yugoslav cooperation, and "send a token number of military troops to protect the Moslem Kosovo region against killing and destruction." He further called on all Moslems and Arabs to act to supply aid and relief to Kosovo Moslems.

Folks, this is getting even messier by the hour! Don't these idiots know what DISENGAGE mean?? I am still shocked they haven't settled this...it is clear who the winners are: Milosevic, Raytheon, and Boeing<g>
