George I believe there is some good merit to TA. When I like a stock and it breaks out of a trading range I buy it for the upswing. When a stock breaks through bottom resistence I run. However there are casses in which fundementals are upgraded dramaticly. In Biotech stocks when an FDA aproval comes out, the stock is repriced for its earnings projections. In the Qcom case it is a similear phenomenon. The market had heavily discounted the price because they believed incorrect information. That incorrect pricing is now correcting itself. I agree that this stock will take a breather, but I dont care. I want to buy more options anyway and wont at these levels. Heck, there is no way I am selling the stock. My taxes would equal my original investement! In any regard I believe that the pull back will not occur until after Earnings anouncement. The Q has historicly run up before Earnings, and is doing it again.

Listen newbee.. Your like the rest of the gaga "oh the market goes up forever I can't lose" crowd that is going to have their butts handed to them with such a novice attitude with lack of Doubt. Listen, I am not negative on QCOM. I was commenting on how fast it has gone straight up. That is all. And by the way have a ton of stocks I have had that made a tons..thank-you. I was just commenting on the mania in this market on individual issues and the complacency that individual investors think this is normal. So don't get all pissy cause I give a contrarian view. I Hate people that are so positive on companies that they lash out if someone rises doubt. Geez..this is what this forum is for. To talk about things and educate each other.
