If the Boy Scouts is a private organization that can set its own conditions of membership, it is within its rights, just as your son need not belong... I will not engage the various beliefs that you mention here, except to say that it is inaccurate to characterize some of them as being astronomically improbable. Only on the prior assumption that there is no extra- physical aspect to the universe do they seem so...
