I've heard so many different opinions on the legality of recording a call. So far my Police Chief has recommended it for domestic issues. An one officer has told me it is ok as a private citizen to record my calls. But my attorney refuses to listen to any of my tapes. (Not about MTEI by the way.) Even of recordings that were taped from my pocket tape recorder, both in my pocket and my glove compartment. And I got one E-Mail from someone telling me it's illegal in some states.

I say tape. Not to just catch liars. But to document the accuracy of what was said.

Best,

George (Did anyone notice "MTEI" intones the word "empty").
