I think you really are stretching it.

From a MGAU PR:

>The acquisition of Johnson/Lett by MG Natural Resources Corp. will be completed on or before March 31, 1999.<

I think this was what Karl was referring to. He expected it to happen by that date and then be reported in a PR within a couple days after.
