I think a moral compass, a desire to put out 100% and do the right thing is more important than the sociopathic persona. Hell, Eisenhower was a twice passed over Captain until WWII. Very little charisma. Yet he became the commander of the decade. If he had a clone to win the presidency there would never have been a cold war like we saw.
