I just paid over a thousand to fly with the kids to Baton Rouge and got stuck babysitting the baby stinker two out of five days. My dad is a total mess, he walked off and left the kid when we went to the Imax. He would have blamed me, or my kids, but we were already out of the theater when it happened.

If you come when they call, they'll keep calling. Ask for a favor in return, make it mutual.

Ish, our office is responsible for something called the "Adopt-a-Horse" program, by which the Feds get rid of wild horses from the west for a tiny fraction of the cost it takes to round them up, feed and vet and stable them, transport them from the range to the east and get them "good homes". Don't people get the idea that horses are a rather large responsibility? We are not talking large pussycats here, nor even large St. Bernards.

You are identified by the company you keep.

Today I saw The Biggest Pitbull in all Creation. A great white beast. He honestly must weigh over 150 lbs and be over 3ft tall at the shoulders. His head is wayy bigger than a man's. Stood on the sidewalk, just blandly looking at me. Then he started following me from box to box. Me sitting on the curb side of a truck with a wide open door, and Moby Dog somewhere close just out of my field of vision. I could feel the hair beginning to rise on the back of my neck. Nooo, I wasn't scared one bit.
