What military strategy do you think the Serbs will employ against the NATO forces and the arrival of the 2,000 Americans and the HELLicoptors? I don't understand why they have not vigorously fought back against NATO air attacks. Don't they have a fairly sophisticated air defense system? You don't think they are doing a rope-a-dope do you? Maybe Saddam has given them some advice.

If NATO starts picking off tanks and troops like flies, I think the Serbs would eventually back off, but many seem to think they will never give up.

Anyone know what the Serbs are planning against NATO?

Wont argue with that simplification of options James.

Although I disagree with you on the two camps point. There is a third camp. This third camp consists of hand-wringing, teary eyed individuals who like to make the impression that they are the most compassionate person in any group, and therefor chase every "humanitarian crisis" they are exposed to, all the while not willing to do a damn thing about it. They cry and moan both about military action and inaction, and after they are done posting they drive home in their SUV and watch CNN on their $2000 TV. Then they lay their heads down comfortable in the fact that they dont have to worry, theyre safe. Hypocrites.

Bottom Line Jim, try to look past Kosovo. What is best for NATO's future?

It will take some American lives to complete the job. NATO is concerned now if they back out then what will the role of NATO be in the future. NATO leadership can't back out without risking the future of NATO.
