Whatever the earnings for 4Q. IFCI is a stock trading under 20X EPS looking backward. The fundamentals looking back and going forward are very solid for this stock. Here is my opinion on why the stock has dropped.

1. Technical selling
2. I have a feeling a big ex-insider is shedding a large position
3. Lack of interest
4. Small cap disease
5. Poorly written press releases or lack thereof

I am sure of one thing. No ones opinion on this board has moved the stock in one direction or the other. Everyone please stop and take a look at the IFCI chart going back to August of 98. We have been this low three other times. The same sentiment was here and elsewhere then as it is now. One thing that's very interesting (or typical) is that KBRO downgraded after the stock has lost 25% of its value. When IFCI was around 7-8 they were way down the bid, not an active player. Guess what, they are further up now and closer to the bid than they are the ask.
I am of the opinion that IFCI doesn't owe anyone an apology and doesn't need to clarify any earnings. I guess it was too much to assume that we all can subtract and divide. Sheesh.
